Used in the treatment of liver and kidney problems, can be used to ease sunburn, chilblains and open sores, as a blood tonic, in the cure of diarrhoea, or as a tooth whitener!

Yampa
Used to treat flatulence, sores, open wounds, sore throats, coughs, inflamed swellings and as a nasal wash.

Spring Beauty
Used to treat convulsions in pups.
Risks & Side Effects: Eating the whole plant is known to cause permanent infertility. May cause rashes and temporary sensitivity to light.
Location: Northern Range (Douglas Fir Forest, Beartooth Wilderness, Gallatin Forest, Tower Creek, Slough Creek, Sunlight Basin).
Bistort
Used as an astringent in the closure of open wounds, it is known to halt internal bleeding, and used in the cure of cystitis, irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcers, excessive or heavy menstruation, spongy gums and mouth ulcers, and sore throats.
Risks & Side Effects: May cause sensitivity to light, and is linked to mineral deficiencies. Is known to irritate conditions such as arthritis, gout and kidney stones.

Deltoid Balsamroot
Used to treat seasonal ailments such as influenza, common colds and tickly coughs.

Globe Flower
Used in the treatment of rare or obscure ailments, scurvy, and to induce vomiting. The seeds can be used to treat sleeping problems or insomnia.

Columbian Bitter-root
Used as a source of additional nutrients for those recovering from malnutrition or suffering from deficiencies.
Risks & Side Effects: Known to leave a bitter taste in the mouth for up to six hours after eating.

Wild Rosemary
Used in the treatment of coughs, colds, stomach ache, asthma, or kidney ailments when ingested as a brew, burns, ulcers, stings and wound infections when applied as a wrap, or chest problems and joint pains when the whole plant is dried and eaten.
Risks & Side Effects: Contains a narcotic potency and thus should not be used by novices unless under supervision.

Bluebell
Used to cure pyometra in females.
Risks & Side Effects: The bulb in its entirety is poisonous.

Buttercup
Used to treat urinary tract infections and infertility, and helps lactating females produce milk. May be combined with other herbs as the flowers possess anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-tumour properties, roots can be used as a blood tonic.

One of nature's greatest miracles! The plant is an extremely rare cure for just about everything!

Cottonwood
The bark may be used to treat arthritis, fevers and scurvy, whilst the leaves may be used to treat cuts, bruising, insect stings and bites, muscle strain, and swelling.

douglas fir
The sap has antiseptic properties and may be used to treat coughs and sore throats, a poultice of the leaves, bark and sap may be used to treat cuts, deep wounds and burns. Other uses include the treatment of dislocated or broken bones, difficult menstruation, bleeding bowels, stomach problems, rheumatic joints, colds, kidney and bladder infections, tender pads, and venereal diseases.

Weeping Willow
Used in the treatment of abscesses, carbuncles, fevers, arthritis, skin diseases, and eruptions, ulcers, diarrhoea, parasites, mange, infected sores, haemorrhaging, and jaundice.

Ross' Bentgrass
A sweet-tasting herb that is used to increase milk production in nursing females when eaten, or may be mashed into a paste in the event of an orphaned litter to increase the chance of survival.
